In September 2013 will be a 100th anniversary since the completion of the Poet’s House, a cultural symbol of the Silver Age. As a centre of free thinking it attracted to Koktebel many generations of art intellectuals. Innovations and originality were always welcomed there. Since the beginning of the 20th century the newest literary and musical works have been heard in the House, as well as discussions about the ways of modern art and culture in general, generating ideas that defined academic and historical twists.

A major exhibition in the National Art Museum of Ukraine is dedicated to this anniversary. From August 28 to September 22 visitors will have an opportunity to see unique exhibits from the collection of M.O. Museum House in Koktebel. Among them there are documents, personal belongings, art works, including six meters long tempera triptych “Yaila”, that has been newly restored by the National Restoration Centre and has never been exhibited outside Koktebel museum.
