Exhibition project ''REVELATION. Masterpieces of Brotherhood monastery''
Opening: 22.12.2018 (Saturday) at 16:00
Curator: Halyna Belikova
The exhibition project "REVELATION. Masterpieces of Brotherhood monastery" is an unprecedented case of presenting the Ukrainian Baroque art with the help of modern technologies. It’s a unique combination of scientific research of the Head of the NAMU ancient art department Halyna Belikova and the innovative exposition design of the artist Ivan Svitlychnyi.
The exhibition belongs to those studies that fill the white spots in the history of Ukrainian culture. Main exhibits are united by a common origin from the Kyiv-Bratsk Epiphany Monastery on Podil, founded in 1615 and destroyed in 1935. For the first time in 80 years, these artifacts are presented in one exhibition space, which allows us to imagine the scale of the cultural center, which was a monastery for three centuries.
The exibition opening on December 22, 4 p.m.
