Olha Rapai was born in 1929 in Kharkiv city. In 1956 she graduated from Kyiv State Art Institute (teacher by professon – M.Guelman).
From 1960 she has been a member of the National Artists Union of Ukraine. She’s participated in numerous local and all-Ukrainian exhibitions.

Volodymyr Sydoruk is a Ukrainian painter, theatre and graphic artist, who was active primarily from 1939 to 1997, embracing more than 50 years. In the three halls of the first floor 94 works of the artist were exhibited: landscapes, portraits, still lives, and historical paintings.

Irmosy (ancient Ukrainian sacred songs of XV–XVIІІ centuries) were performed at the event by Andriy Vodichev, Laureate of Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian State Prize, actor of L.Kurbas Lviv Academic Theatre and I.Franko National Academic Theatre, and Tamara Horhisheli, actress of L.Kurbas Lviv Academic Theatre, front-woman of Horhisheli band.

“Family exhibition” affords observers with an opportunity to see works of the legendary Oleksandr Syrotenko (1897–1975), whose 110th birthday is celebrated this year, his daughter Nadiya Syrotenko (1920–2005), her husband, known artist Oleksandr Vovk (1922–2004) and their son Serhiy Vovk (born in 1958). The exposition includes painints showing different periods of artists’ creativity, genre and type variety of their heritage and nowadays. Over 150 works from the National Art Museum of Ukraine’s and family collections are presented in the exhibition.
