15 thousand people visited the exhibition in the first two weeks. This success was conditioned not just by the general interest to Ukraine, but by the quality of this collection (80% exposed works are from the usual permanent museum exposition).

The exhibition which has opened in two rooms of the ground floor of National Art Museum of Ukraine showed the paintings of one of the bright representatives of the so-called “new Ukrainian wave” of the late 1980s-early 1990s – Roman Zhuk.

The exhibit that opened in four galleries of the ground floor of the museum shows a painting retrospective of one of the most outstanding representatives of Lviv school of art, a People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Patyk, who turns 80 in 2006.

This exhibition Yulia Ukader dedicated to her friends among the soldiers. She reflects upon the multidimensionality of space and she is sure that the infinity of cosmos could not have been conceived by the finite mind. Without evolution and perfection Life dies.
