The plots and heroes of Sergey Kostenko's (1891) and Through the Stackage (Konstantin Troutovsky's Laying) paintings from NAMU's permanent exposition are always of interest to the audience. What inspired the authors? What preceded the moment when the artist was portrayed and how did the events unfold? This is exactly what the participants will discuss, express their ideas and hypotheses, and even stage stories of the paintings together.

In the second part of the class, creative experiments await children, in which they will explore an important element of art - the line.

Adult participants, for example, will be acquainted with the most characteristic and iconic subjects of different eras on the example of works from the collection of the museum. They will also find out how different types of lines - visible or hidden - add more expressiveness to the works, and to the plot - tension and meaningful completeness.

As always, participants are expected to share creative homework.

Oksana Ageev - Head of the Department of Scientific and Educational Work

An interactive excursion for adults is conducted by Kateryna Milyukova, a senior researcher at the department of scientific and educational work.
