05.03.2020 Presentation of the catalog "Oleksandr Bohomazov: Creative Laboratory"

We are very pleased to invite you to the presentation of the catalog "Alexander Bogomazov: Creative Laboratory" - on Friday, March 6, at 16:00.

The edition, prepared as part of the exhibition, which took place at the museum on May 15-July 28, 2019, represents a prominent Ukrainian avant-garde artist, art theorist and educator whose work shaped the modern era of the twentieth century and became the property of world culture.

The catalog (448 pages!) Includes seven articles by leading Ukrainian researchers: curator of the exhibition Elena Kashuba-Volwach, American art critic Myroslava Mudrak, deputy director of NAMU for scientific work Lesia Tolstova, director of the Central State Archives-Museum of Art and Literature of Ukraine Olena Chi Tatiana Popova, as well as commentary by Natalia Chamlay, head of the NAMU restoration department, which was in charge of the restoration of the Pilari canvas, shown for the first time in 90 years. Substantial textual material complements Alexander Bogomazov's representative catalog of works from the 1900s to the 1920s.

The publication will be presented by the catalog editor, the head of the art department of the late XIX - early XX century NAMU Elena Kashuba-Volwach.

We would like to draw your attention that only on the day of presentation the catalog in the souvenir shop will cost 1000 UAH, instead of 1200 UAH.

Those who pre-order the Early Birds program can also pick it up at the museum for presentations.

We are waiting for you at NAMU!

Event is free of charge.
