14.09.2021 Curatorial tour by Anna Alieva within the exhibition "Dad, the helmet is pressing on me"
We invite you to the first curatorial tour with the exhibition "Dad, the helmet is pressing on me. Contemporary art from the NAMU collection".
On the tour we will consider in detail the history of the formation of the collection of contemporary art and its prospects. We will find out when and how the new exhibits got into the preservation funds, what events of the artistic process over the last 30 years took place both inside and outside the museum. We will see the halls of the collections of "Gradobank", "Philanthropists' Time", some works donated by collectors and artists purchased by patrons. The exhibition combines the trends of Ukrainian art from the postmodern trends of the late 1980s to the archival turn of the 2010s.
The co-curator of the exhibition "Tattoo, helmet presses. Contemporary art from the NAMU collection" Anna Aliyeva will tell about this and other next Sunday. Join!
