Andre Jolive always was interested in this form of art, which starts its history in the first years of XXth century. “Book of an artist” is a book, created as an art object, or an art object, created as a book. An exhibition “Ukrainian New wave. Painting, photo, video of the second half of the 80-ies – beginning of the 90-ies” is the first exhibition in long-term, several-staged project. At the time of its realization in the museum will be presented wide range of art phenomena of the end of the 80-ies – first half of the 90-ies, which demonstrates transition from soviet to contemporary art of Ukraine and its inclusion to the international context.
