The present exhibit of Olena Yablons’ka consists of 50 paintings, mostly recent works.  Beside paintings, it shows book graphics from 1960’s to 1970’s.

“I bend over flowers not to pick them or to cut them, but to see their kind faces and to show a kind face to them,” Olena Nylivna says. 

In the works of Yablons’ka, colors transmit most of the emotional information. The artist dresses her thoughts of the beautiful but short-lived flowers into the colors of joy and paradise. 

The exhibition is important because it shows places that often look too usual and insignificant. With Yablons’ka’s help, we experience their beauty again and again.
